About Us

Arown Academy was founded in 2016 with a unified vision and four ambitious friends who had no prior business experience. Since then, we have grown from a small AI Integrated Medical Coding training center to a full-fledged program that encompasses education related to the healthcare industry.

Our journey has been one that has appreciated our vision, commitment to excellence, steady growth, and some important landmarks. We have built a reputation for ourselves and are seen as a leader in health care education across Kerala and beyond.

Our Founding Story

Neither of the founders had business experience to draw from. However, they both had the will to establish a capacity that taught students, developed their skills, and provided job roles that ultimately led to the formation of Arown Academy. The journey began with six students enrolled in the first batch, all of whom passed on their first attempt their respective AI Integrated Medical Coding certificates and secured job placement. This has been the standard from the beginning of Arown Academy (a high standard).

What began as a small dream has become a leading educational company transforming the careers of thousands of healthcare professionals. The founders' original vision—to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application when delivering healthcare education—still resonates in our educational philosophy today and will continue to inform every program we deliver and every student we teach.

Milestones & Growth Journey

There was a notable milestone in 2021 when Arown Academy received AAPC accreditation, a change that affirmed our determination to deliver high-quality programs in AI-integrated medical coding education. The accreditation validated our pedagogical practices and established credibility for our programs as students embarked upon a new career path and demonstrated to employers that they would be trained and prepared for the job demand.

As the demand for healthcare professionals grew, we started accommodating students by 2023 with both in-person and virtual learning, providing education options for students wherever they were or whatever circumstances they faced. The hybrid model allowed us to provide educational opportunities and reach students outside of geographical boundaries while providing a more personalized learning experience—a reputation we continued to build upon.

We continually review and revise our curriculum to comply with industry benchmarks and to address the continually evolving needs of the sector. We have established an incredible level of rapport with many healthcare institutions through daily conversations and consultations with leaders from the industry to develop and deploy relevant and current practices and technology. By the end of 2024, we had expanded our programs to include comprehensive curricula for Hospital Administration and Home Health, creating more career pathways for aspiring medical professionals.

Future Directions & Program Expansion

In anticipation of 2025, we are actively developing specialized courses that adapt to the evolving environment of healthcare delivery and management. Anticipated upcoming programs are:

• IHAD (Integrated Healthcare Administration & Documentation) -Training students to document patient interactions in real time
• IPRDG (Inpatient Prospective Payment System Risk Diagnostic Grouping)- targeted training in hospital payment systems
• Home Health Coding- preparing professionals for the emerging home based healthcare field
• Integrated Hospital Administration - and hospital documentation
• MBA in Healthcare Management - advanced training for the healthcare executive of the future
• Skill Up Program - targeted modules to enhance specific skills for current workers.

Each of these programs has been developed intentionally to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals, providing them with a blend of theoretical knowledge with practical, applied experiential training to create professionals who can be competent in meeting the demands of the industry.

V., Director of the Cooperative Office, and Sujith S., Director of Operations, are leading Arown Academy in a strategic direction and providing institutional leadership to help Arown Academy reach new peaks. Their vision and expertise have been essential in navigating Arown Academy's developmental path and contributed to its positive reputation. 

Our faculty are well-experienced healthcare professionals who impart their industry knowledge into the classroom. Many of our instructors work in a healthcare setting, maintaining a connection with the industry. We can provide students with the latest information reflecting current practices and trends in the industry. Our faculty builds a connection between theory and practice with our students to prepare them for the realities of the workplace in the healthcare sector.

Arown Academy has a strong campus presence (seven branches) across the state of Kerala, with campuses in Calicut, Kannur, Thrissur, Kochi, Perinthalmanna, and Kottayam for better access to quality healthcare education. A modern campus with simulation labs and learning resources offers a conducive learning environment. 

We have always had a great impact, as we have trained over 13,000 students and have over 10,000 placements around the world. We are a leading provider of healthcare education, and graduates are working at leading healthcare facilities across India and countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East, representing the Arown standard of excellence in healthcare.
